Scott Kerr Results

BAM!!! Another fantastic tournament. Thank you to all the teams that traveled to Kerr Scott and eyeballed all those big bass. Congratulations to Brandon Eggers and Mitch Gardner for their 1st place finish and 2nd big fish of 5.15 pounds netting them $900 with 24.31 pounds of largemouth and Spots. 2nd place went to Justin McBrayer and Shawn Collins with 22.30 pounds and $490 followed by Nick Martin and Lee Birch with 1st big fish of 5.55 pounds and a total weight of 20.78 netting them $182 for that fish and $330 for 3rd place. Everyone had a limit and culled throughout the day. Lots of fun watching hundreds of big bass swim up into every cut and pocket on the lake. Great job everyone for the awesome fish care as we had a 100% live release. Melissa brought in buckets and buckets of fresh fried chicken and potatoes salad for everyone to enjoy while we conducted weigh in… I got 1 piece of chicken and none was left over so mmmmmm lol.
Our raffle was awesome having given away over $700+ worth of gear:
TH Marine Gen 2 Conservation Cull System,
YETI Dry Bag, Quantum KVD Tour Edition Rod, Quantum Accurist Rod/Reel Combo, a Free $180 entry into a tournament of the winners choice and more. Hats off to Jeremy Bogard with Skyline Marine in Moravian NC for opening up his shop to the NCTBF then letting our tournament use the private ramp at Skyline Marina on Kerr Scott. Let’s support our sponsors with our hard earned dollars. If your looking for a new or gently used boat, go check out Skyline Marine and ask for Jeremy or Wayne.
The N.E. Cape Fear tournament originally scheduled for April 27th has been moved to one of the last two weekends in July. Scheduling conflicts have dictated that we move the date – thank you all for understanding as we are working hard to meet everyone’s scheduling needs.
The next tournament will be held on Sunday May 5th on Kerr lake out of Flemmingtown boat ramp. Let’s make this a huge turnout so go out tell your friends and fishing buddies and let’s see if we can make this our largest tournament to dat. It’s up to us to spread the news to our fishing community about how huge our payback is compared to every other tournament trail out there right now.

Our Team Trail Points should be posted soon on NC bass.org check in daily to find out where everyone stands and which clubs are leading in the club points standings.
